How It Works
How to Play Streetle
Each round gives you a target and a live map. Your job is to click the right street or place, lock in the guess, and work through the board as cleanly as you can.
Quick Start
- Pick a mode: Streets, Landmarks, Parks, Restaurants, or Mixed.
- Search for a city and load it.
- Start the round and guess the target shown at the top of the screen.
Modes
- Streets: Named roads only.
- Restaurants: Restaurants, cafes, bars, and pubs.
- Parks: Parks, gardens, and reserve-style areas.
- Landmarks: Attractions, museums, memorials, and viewpoints.
- Mixed: A combination of place-based modes.
Round Flow
- The current target is shown in the HUD.
- Tap or click the street or place you want.
- On mobile, tap the same target again to confirm.
- After each answer, the correct location stays labeled on the map.
Scoring
You get 1 point for each correct answer. The final score is shown as correct guesses over total attempts, so misses and skips both count against the denominator. Daily runs keep track of your first score, best score, and number of attempts.
Daily vs. Sandbox
- Daily: Same board for everyone on that date.
- Sandbox: Flexible round length for practice or casual play.
Controls
- Previous / Next: Move between unresolved targets.
- Don't know: Reveal the answer and move on.
- Show final score: End the round after the last target.
- Play other game modes: Jump back to mode selection.
Tips
- Zoom out first if you need citywide context.
- Use neighborhood shape, park clusters, and major arterials to narrow things down.
- Daily mode is the best way to compare scores with other people because the board is fixed.
